While the cesarean rate in DFW can be as high as 34%, at The Birth House we have a cesarean section rate of just 8%. Our families also boast a higher breastfeeding success rate, self report a lower pain level, and overall report higher satisfaction with their pregnancy and birth experience.
Midwifery care at The Birth House gives you full prenatal care, birth support, postpartum support, and newborn care for 6 weeks after your birth. All your labs can be done right at our birth center. You don't have to give up any standard care to have a family centered care with a midwife - good midwifery care only enhances your pregnancy and birth care.
