The St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry in Allen, TX will be offering a career management seminar on Saturday morning, September 13.  The guest speaker at this Saturday morning seminar will be Dallas-based executive recruiter Elizabeth Lions.  Ms. Lions' presentation is designed to help participants understand that landing a new job is not enough: they need to consider the life-cycle of their career, whether they are 25 or 55 years old.

In her September 13 presentation, Ms. Lions will cover every aspect of career management including marketing oneself, choosing the right job and negotiating the next salary.  Ms. Lions will also stress that job seekers need to recognize that searching for and landing a new job involves a maze of crucial career decisions.

Ms. Lions is president of Elizabeth Lions Consulting, LLC.  Her client list includes leaders of Intel, eBay, Microsoft, Wells Fargo and Fiserv.  Ms. Lions also has her own radio show titled "Leadership Lessons from the Lioness" on Plaid for Women.  She is the author of two books:  (1) Recession-Proof Yourself (2009); and (2) I Quit, Why Working for You Isn't Working for Me (2012).

The September 13 St. Jude Career Alliance Ministry Saturday Morning Seminar will be held from 9 to 11:00 AM at St. Jude Parish in Allen, TX.  This seminar is open to everyone and there is no charge.  Participants should bring a note pad and pen.
