Learn and explore with Smith Library's adult virtual programming.

In addition to the many virtual activities planned for kids, tweens, and teens this summer, Wylie's Smith Library has online plans for adults as well.

Thursday Tales - best suited for adults 18 and up. Actors from Second Players perform classic stories from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, P.G. Wodehouse, and more in "one-man show" audio dramas. A new story will be posted each week June 11 - July 16 at facebook.com/smithpubliclibrary.

Booked on Fridays - adults 18 and up. Booked on Fridays meets at noon on the second Friday of the month through Google Meet. A Google account is not required. Not already a member? Email libinfo@wylietexas.gov for information on obtaining a copy and to receive a meeting invite. Copies of the book are also available on OverDrive. Decluttering 2020 with Someday Organizing - adults 18 and up, registration required. Many of us have found ourselves with time on our hands and the desire to declutter and organize our homes. Current times, however, have added new challenges. Join Sandy Jones in a live Zoom stream for a breakdown on the basics of decluttering, followed by a Q&A. Zoom account is not required. Storm Chasers for Grownups - adults 18 and up, registration required. Texas Storm Chasers via Zoom live stream will introduce you to the basic types of storms and safety precautions before, during, and after weather events.
