Wylie's Smith Library wants to encourage kids, teens, and adults to keep reading all summer long. The staff is offering giveaways and a chance to win amazing grand prizes as part of the Summer Reading Club program.

Reading Club for Kids: For youngsters entering fifth grade and younger. Reading logs are available beginning May 21. Choose to read 10 hours or 25 books, turn in your log between June 18 and Aug. 4, and get a completion certificate and a free paperback book. (One per day with completed log while supplies last.) Every time you read 10 hours or 25 books, you get to enter your name for a chance to win a grand prize. Grand prizes for this age group include: Kindle Fire HD 7" Kids Edition Tablet 8 GB; Family Membership for four to the Crayola Experience at The Shops at Willow Band; and Curious George doll and book set.

Reading Club for Teens: For teens entering sixth through 12th grade. Reading logs are available beginning May 21. Complete five reading activities for a free paperback book. (One per day with completed log while supplies last.) Each completed log is a chance to enter a drawing for one of the grand prizes (turn in your chances between June 18 and Aug. 4). Grand prizes for Teens include: State Fair season pack combo for two; STEAM online gaming $100 gift card; Kindle Fire HD 7" 8 GB; and Uppercase Book Box three-month subscription.

Reading Club for Adults: For ages 18 and up. Take the Summer Reading Challenge! Reading logs are available beginning May 21. Read or listen to three books and attend Adult events to complete a log. Return your first log for a free drink at Shoemaker & Hardt. Keep reading! All logs are entered into the grand prize drawings (turn in your chances between June 18 and Aug. 4). Adult grand prizes include: Sports Prize - Texas Rangers tickets $100 gift card, two VIP guided tour vouchers to The Star in Frisco, Dallas Cowboys Headquarters; Theater Prize - Dallas Summer Musicals, $150 gift certificate; Game Prize - Super NES classic console, Catan board game 5th edition; Museum Prize - One year membership plus Kids Club, Dallas Museum of Arts.
