Wylie's Smith Public Library has many programs and classes for kids and families during the month of September. Here are a few:

LEGO League: Sept. 5 and 7, at 3:30 p.m., kids in first through fourth grades are invited to show off their creativity and build around a different theme each month. Cooperation and building on theme are encouraged but not required. Age limits are strictly enforced. No parents or older/younger siblings please. Space is limited, and registration is required at the Children's Desk. September's theme is LEGOs Before Time (Dinosaurs).

Japanimation Club: Sept. 13 at 6 p.m., sixth- through 12th-graders, come geek out about all things anime and manga in the Multi-Purpose Room. No registration is required.

Family LEGO Build: Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. Bring the whole family and build with the library's LEGO and DUPLO sets in the Storytime Room. All ages are welcome and no registration is required.
