Recently, members of Lake Pointe Medical Center’s (LPMC) staff presented a check to Margo Neilsen, executive director of Rockwall County Helping Hands. LPMC nursing directors coordinated a basket raffle across all departments at the hospital to raise funds during Nurses Week 2014. More than $1,600 was collected for the Health Center of Helping Hands, which provides underserved members of the Rockwall community with high-quality, affordable health care.
