Wylie American Legion Auxiliary, East Fork Masonic Lodge and Wylie Rotary Club are hosting a food and supplies drive from March 24 – April 1 to benefit the Wylie National Guard Armory.

Collection boxes will be placed in these Wylie locations: Wylie Municipal Complex buildings (city hall, rec center and library), 300 Country Club Rd.; Wylie Public Safety Complex, 2000 N. Hwy. 78; Woodbridge Golf Club, 7400 Country Club Rd.; Walmart Neighborhood Market, 1400 McCreary Rd.; and East Fork Masonic Lodge, 508 Parker Rd.

Needed are non-perishable food items, baby care products, bathroom tissue, paper towels and hygiene products.

The collection is being held in conjunction with the 1LT. Robert F. Welch III Run for Our Heroes, slated for April 2. 1LT. Welch, of Wylie, was killed in Afghanistan in 2011.
