Five popular authors, all with ties to Texas, will soon convene at Smith Public Library to share tea with friends and fans and sign copies of their books.
The Summer Author Tea begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, followed by a book signing at 2:30. Deborah Crombie, Elizabeth Essex, Rebecca Adler, who also writes as Gina Lee Nelson, Sara Rosett, and Barb Han will all be on hand for tea and conversation.
Deborah Crombie is the New York Times Bestselling Author of the "Duncan Kincaid/Gemma James" mystery series, including “A Share in Death” and “Garden of Lamentations.” USA Today Bestselling Author Barb Han has written 18 books for Harlequin Intrigue and NOIR since her first sale in 2013. “Texas-Sized Trouble” is one of her most popular titles. Sara Rosett is the author of the best-selling and award-winning "Murder on Location," "On the Run," and the "Ellie Avery" series. Elizabeth Essex is the author of the critically acclaimed "Reckless Brides" historical romance series. Rebecca Adler writes the "Taste of Texas" cozy culinary mystery series set in far West Texas, and filled with “sweet, Southern-fried flavor, delicious suspense, and scrumptious Tex-Mex recipes.” Her alter ego, Gina Lee Nelson, writes sweet contemporary romance.
The tea is for age 16 and older; register at WylieTexas.gov/library or call 972-516-6250, option 3. There is no age minimum to attend the book signing, and no registration is required. There is no charge to attend the tea or signing; staff from Barnes & Noble will be on hand to sell copies of the authors' books, and sales will support the Friends of the Library group. Attendees may also bring their own copies.
