Taste the best of Watters Creek and raise money to get tails wagging, all at the same time. The Decadent Dining Dog Benefit on May 22 at Watters Creek will raise much-needed funds for the furry friends of the Collin County Humane Society. The ticketed event is from 6 to 9 p.m. and includes progressive dining, pet adoptions, retailer discounts and live music outdoors on The Green at Watters Creek.

"Not only is this a fun night out, with a chance to sample delicious food and cocktails from our restaurants, shop for great buys and enjoy the live band  but it also raises money for a great cause, the work that the Collin County Human Society does year-round for animals," said Glenda Garcia Ochoa, marketing director of Watters Creek.

This is the third annual benefit for the Collin County Humane Society that Watters Creek has held, which raised more than $4,000 in 2013 for the nonprofit.

Tickets for the Third Annual Decadent Dog Dining Benefit are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The more tickets you buy, the more you save, so two tickets are $40, three are $55 and four are $75, if purchased in advance. Each ticket includes three free drink tickets (which includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options), plus cuisine and desserts from participating Watters Creek eateries.  Ticketholders will also receive VIP discounts at all participating Watters Creek shops and restaurants. Tickets can be purchased online in advance at the website.

Guests of honor from the Collin County Humane Society will be hosted in an adoption area set up at Watters Creek. Who knows? Maybe your family's next furry friend is waiting for you!
