Wylie CPAAA Ride Against Crime

Wylie Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association invites all motorcycle riders to participate in its fourth annual Ride Against Crime Bike Run. All proceeds will benefit the Wylie Police Department.

The 1.5-hour ride winds through scenic, rural roads, with riders stopping at several locations to collect raffle tickets for great prizes. Ride begins and ends at Olde City Park in historic downtown Wylie; music and free food and drinks will be provided at the end of the ride.

Cost to ride is $20 until May 2, then $25; passengers ride for $10. Pre-registered participants receive a commemorative ride T-shirt. Registration and sponsorship forms at .

The Wylie Citizens Police AAA is a nonprofit organization made up of graduates of the Wylie Citizens Police Academy. The group's purpose is to enhance relations between the community and Wylie PD through continuing education and to support the PD in a variety of ways, including the purchase of equipment and supplies.
