The City of Wylie proudly presents the third annual Night of Wonder, a family-fun magic show featuring award-winning act, Becker Magic, starring Fred and Bobbie Becker. Wylie's "Magic Mayor" hosts the event, which is held in conjunction with Boo on Ballard, the annual trick-or-treat event. Families are invited to dress in costume, trick-or-treat in a safe, controlled environment with merchants, then head to the magic show at 7 p.m.
For a sneak preview of the headliners, check out Becker Magic on CW33's "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25. The episode will be rebroadcast on Oct. 6.
The Beckers' clean magic and comedy show has been described as a "feel-good, fun-entertainment tour-de-force" that will leave audience members grinning and saying, "How did they do that?" Fred Becker has performed at the famed Magic Castle in Hollywood and for President Ronald and Nancy Reagan.
"Magic Mayor" Eric Hogue, also an accomplished magician and a member of the Society of American Magicians, the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and the Dallas Magic Club, will act as master of ceremonies.
Tickets for Night of Wonder are $10 and proceeds benefit Wylie Fire Rescue. Visit WylieTexas.gov/Magic for more information and tickets.
