Wylie's teen P.O.L.I.C.E. (Practice of Leadership, Integrity, and Character Education) Club is hosting the second annual co-ed, slow-pitch, double-elimination softball tournament fundraiser to support community members in need.
The first set of games will begin at 9 a.m. with the championship game slated for 7 p.m. The tournament is open to players of all ages, and a maximum of 16 teams may play. Each must be made up of at least 10 members, including at least three females.
Cost to enter is $10 per person. Teams are responsible for bringing their own gloves and bats, but game balls will be provided. Each player will receive a tournament T-shirt, and trophies and awards will be given to the winning team.
To participate, each team must complete a registration form. To request a form or for more information, email Officer Michael Stewart at Michael.Stewart@WylieISD.net. Deadline to enter is Oct. 19.
